Our Story

We know the corporate world inside out. With backgrounds in high-pressure industries - Holly as an Actuary and Melissa as a Commercial Lawyer - we’ve both experienced the relentless demands, the unspoken expectation to push through stress, and the toll it can take on wellbeing.

Our journeys took different paths. Melissa stepped away from corporate life to reclaim her health and build Numinity, a thriving wellbeing business. Holly stayed within the system, using her passion for wellbeing to shape a high-performing team rooted in connection and authenticity - an approach that has driven growth of over £3m revenue annually

But the real test of our approach came last year.

Our beloved uncle was killed unexpectedly two days before Holly’s wedding was scheduled to take place. It was a devastating blow, compounded by other personal challenges that followed in quick succession. We were both grieving, yet our experiences of work during this time could not have been more different.

Holly, despite working in a supportive corporate environment, was encouraged to take time off, because that’s the standard response in times of crisis. But stepping away didn’t feel like the solution. What she really needed was the flexibility to continue working in a way that supported her wellbeing, without the pressure of deadlines or rigid structures. That option didn’t exist.

Melissa, meanwhile, found solace in the world she had created. Wellbeing wasn’t something separate from work - it was woven into the fabric of daily life. There was space for grief to move, for the nervous system to regulate, and for purpose to remain a steady anchor. The contrast was stark, highlighting a fundamental flaw in how most workplaces handle human experiences: you’re either “on” and productive, or you step away entirely. There’s little space for the realities in between.

This experience reinforced our shared mission - to create workplaces where wellbeing isn’t an emergency intervention, but an ongoing, embedded practice. Where people can show up as they are, through life’s highs and lows, without sacrificing their wellbeing or their careers.

Over the past five years, we’ve combined our expertise to build corporate wellness programmes that create lasting cultural shifts and transform the way we work.
